Pre-Married Couples

A satisfying and lifelong marriage requires preparation. As you look forward to your wedding day and your future as a married couple, we want you to have a strong foundation for a great marriage. Thus, one of the major goals of the NWA Healthy Marriages program is to provide you with the resources and tools you need to prepare for a satisfying and lifelong marriage. Below are some opportunities that we believe will be helpful as you get ready for your life together:

1. Take the State of your Relationship Quiz
   This quiz is designed to give you the opportunity to reflect on and respond to some key areas of your relationship. It is free, anonymous, and takes only a few minutes to complete. The best part is you will receive immediate feedback about your marriage.
2. Attend an event
   Throughout the year, NWA Healthy Marriages will offer premarital seminars and workshops in the community that will provide you with the skills you need for a healthy, satisfying, and lifelong marriage. Make sure you look at the NWA Events Calendar for upcoming pre-marital events. 
3. Look through the resources on this website
   We have compiled resources that we believe will help you in preparing for your marriage. You will find numerous books, articles, community resources, media, and links to other websites in the Resource section of our website that will help you in building a great marriage.
4. Connect with a trained Marriage Champion
   You do not have to do all the preparation alone! Throughout the NWA community, there are married couples and professional individuals with the experience, desire, and training to help you. We want to connect you with one of our Marriage Champions who will be able to give you individual attention and preparation as you work towards the marriage you've always dreamed of.
